Look Homeward Angel Does anyone else remember this wonderful song? I loved all these tearjerkers...still do. The Monarchs were a very popular local group that traveled extensively to promote their records. They appeared on the Alan Freed TV show and appeared in concert with national groups such as The Beach Boys, The Four Seasons, Glen Campbell and Del Shannon to name a few. The group members were Leon Middleton, Dusty Miller, Ernie Donnell, Butch Snider, Mike Gibson, Jim Wells, Louie Lange and Bob Lange. "Look Homeward Angel" was released in January 1964 on the Soundstage 7 label.

Duke Snider and Sal Maglie on Whats My Line Duke Snider of the Brooklyn Dodgers and Sal Maglie of the New York Giants appear as co-mystery challengers on What's My Line circa 1954 when baseball was king. Amazingly, they seem to get along just fine.

Duke Snider on Whats My Line On Janaury 12 1958, What's My Line was broadcast from Hollywood instead of New York City. The panelists were west coast celebrities instead of the usual bunch, which was just wrong. Fittingly, Duke Snider of the recently uprooted Brooklyn Dodgers appears as a mystery challenger. (The Dodgers leaving Brooklyn for Los Angeles was very wrong too!)
