Mason Williams Classical Gas LOL this is a little complicated. The song was a hit in 1968 so that's where I posted it. The Smother Brothers Show aired until 1969. This aired in 1988 when the Writers Guild went on strike so The Smothers Brothers were briefly back on the air and when this clip was actually aired!

Hair LA Cast on Smothers Brothers This is the LA cast of Hair doing their thing on The Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour on December 8, 1969. The show's authors and original Broadway cast stars, Gerome Ragni and James Rado reprise their role here but were not part of the LA production during it's entire run. The very beautiful blonde girl "Sheila" who is doing the solo at the beginning of the third number is Jennifer Warnes.
