Fans of Laurel and Hardy's films will recognize this face: It is James (Jimmy) Finlayson, a Scottish-born actor best known today for being the foil in several L&H films. He often expressed his exasperation at the twosome's antics by saying D'oh! Long after Finlayson died in 1948, his D'oh was resurrected by Dan Castellaneta who voices cartoon icon Homer Simpson.

O.J. Simpson's mother, Eunice, was featured in this commercial for a telephone service. I don't know when this ad was made, but obviously it was before a certain Sunday in 1994.

Homer, disturbed by the box of Mr. Sparkle, contacts the manufacturer in Hokkaido, Japan for information. He is sent a promotional video for Mr. Sparkle, which consists of a bizarre TV commercial. At the end of the video, the mascot is shown to be a result of a joint venture between two large Japanese conglomerates whose mascots, a fish and light bulb, merge together to form Mr. Sparkle, thus, Homer discovers it was all a mere coincidence.

....CATHERINE BACH, who played Daisy Duke in The Dukes of Hazzard from 1979 to 1985. Like many 1970s TV stars, Catherine found the movie offers, poster contracts, personal appearances and talk-show gigs slowly evaporating as her series faded from the public's memory. In the past several years, she has been involved in wildlife conservation and domestic violence issues. In 1994 she testified before Congress on behalf of the Rhinoceros and Tiger Conservation Act. Because of the feature film with Jessica Simpson playing the role of Daisy Duke, Bach has been asked to make more personal appearances.
