The Star Wars Holiday Special was a two-hour television special (including commercials) set in the Star Wars galaxy. It was broadcast in its entirety in the United States only once on Friday, November 17, 1978 on CBS-TV from 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., Eastern Standard Time (EST). In it, Chewbacca and Han Solo visit Kashyyyk, Chewbacca's home world, to celebrate Life Day. Along the way, they are pursued by agents of the Galactic Empire who are searching for rebels on the planet. The special introduces three members of Chewbacca's family: his father Attichitcuk, his wife Mallatobuck, and his son Lumpawarrump.

There was once a time when Mike Tyson was a positive force for boxing. He was six months shy of his 20th birthday when he first appeared on the cover of Sports Illustrated in 1986 billed as 'Kid Dynamite.' Tyson's story made good copy: He was a tough kid from the projects who was more or less adopted by boxing guru Cus D'Amato and turned into a champion with frightening power. D'Amato also instilled in Tyson a love of boxing history--a rare commodity among modern pugilists. D'Amato died not long afterwards. So did another one of Tyson's handlers, Jim Jacobs. Tyson wed actress Robin Givens, but the marriage was a disaster. Things spiralled downward from that point...

This 1997 investigative report deals with the famous murder case in which a 30-year-old Cleveland, Ohio doctor, Sam Sheppard, was convicted of murdering his 31-year-old wife, Marilyn, on the Fourth of July weekend in 1954. Marilyn was bludgeoned to death in her bed while her husband was supposedly napping in front of the TV one floor below. Sheppard claimed he was roused by shouts coming from the upstairs bedroom and was twice knocked out by a bushy-haired intruder. Sheppard was quickly accused by the media. He was found guilty by a jury, served a decade in prison, and then had his conviction overturned in a new trial in 1966. He died a broken man in 1970. Was Sam Sheppard guilty? Suffice to say his original conviction has been hotly debated by crime buffs ever since.
