The Astro Zombies The Astro-Zombies is a 1969 science fiction horror film starring John Carradine, Wendell Corey and a actress actually named TURA SATANA (ok, so she changed here name) The film also served as the inspiration for a song of the same name by punk band THE MISFITS... and i think it is HILARIOUS!!!

Censored Shirley Temple Film Curly Top (1935) was one of Shirley Temple's first feature films for 20th Century Fox. In it Shirley played a lovable, spunky orphan. The film is best known for Shirley's famous 'Animal Crackers' song. Movie scholars also remember Curly Top as the film that featured a controversial Temple hula dance that ended up on the cutting room floor. What did seven-year-old Shirley do to ire the censors? She wore a grass hula skirt but no top! The public didn't see little Shirley's bare torso until the late 1970s when the clip was included in the syndicated TV program 'That's Hollywood!' The hula scene is not included in DVDs or videotapes.

New Wave The Artists New Wave is a genre of music which originated in the late 1970s. Many of today's popular artists were heavily influenced by New Wave. While Punk Rock and Disco flourished New Wave to me was dead center in between the two drawing from both as well as other popular music forms. I also can't forget the fashion and the hair too. This slide show shows some of the many groups and artists that came under the umbrella of New Wave.

Melba - Forgotten 1986 Sitcom Flop Singer Melba Moore was the star of a barely remembered 1986 CBS sitcom aptly tiled Melba. Moore played Melba Patterson, a recently divorced black mother. Along with running the Visitors' Center in Manhattan, Patterson was trying to raise a spunky nine-year-old daughter (Tracy) with the help of her mother (Rose) and her white "sister" (Susan Slater)--a childhood pal who had been raised by Melba's mom. Before it had even aired once, critics who had seen sneak previews of Melba strongly took a dislike to the show. Nevertheless, Melba's debut occurred at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, January 28, 1986: the same day of the Challenger Space Shuttle disaster. Apparently few people were in the mood to watch a new sitcom later that night: Melba's ratings were the worst in CBS' prime-time history. It got a 13% viewer share--an awful number in the days of just three networks and limited competition from cable stations. Despite the Challenger tragedy, The A-Team (NBC) and Who's The Boss? (ABC) still managed to pull in respectable ratings opposite Melba. Panicky network executives swiftly yanked Melba from CBS' lineup. However, five other Melba episodes aired in August and September on Saturday nights when ABC and NBC were showing reruns. The ratings for Melba were still unacceptably low, so CBS killed it for a second and final time. Here's what the show's opening montage looked like.

Brian Bonsall Mug Shot Believe it or not, this is a mug shot of Brian Bonsall. Bonsall played Andy Keaton, the youngest member of the Keaton clan, on the popular 1980s sitcom Family Ties. After the show ended, Bonsall got involved with several punk rock bands in Colorado and Los Angeles. He has experienced ongoing difficulties with alcohol. He was arrested on domestic violence charges after assaulting his girlfriend. He pleaded guilty to third-degree assault and was paroled, but he repeatedly violated the conditions and failed to appear in court. He is currently a fugitive.
