LOL this is a little complicated. The song was a hit in 1968 so that's where I posted it.
The Smother Brothers Show aired until 1969. This aired in 1988 when the Writers Guild went on strike so The Smothers Brothers were briefly back on the air and when this clip was actually aired!

This was a decent enough 70's sitcom, that aired on Thursdays at 8:30pm on ABC, starring Donna Pescow, Robert Hayes, and Doris Roberts. Even back then Doris was cast as the opinionated, outspoken Italian mother, who spent most of her time in the kitchen cooking pasta. Of course, her character was molded from real life because most Italian mothers are exactly like this. Ahhh, some things never change.

One of the most popular British sitcoms ever was Some Mothers Do 'Ave 'Em. It was about the escapades of bumbling Frank Spencer. The man who played Frank Spencer was Michael Crawford. Yes, it's the same Michael Crawford with the magnificent singing voice who played the lead role in Phantom of the Opera for many years. Watch Frank's famous roller skating mishap. By the way, no stunt man was used. That's 100 percent Michael Crawford. This bloke has talent!

Miles Laboratories was founded as the DR. MILES MEDICAL COMPANY in Elkhart, Indiana, in 1884 by Franklin Miles, a specialist in the treatment of eye and ear disorders, with an interest in the connection of the nervous system to overall health. By 1890, the sales success of his patent medicine tonic, DR. MILES' NERVINE, in treating "nervous" ailments (including "nervousness or nervous exhaustion, sleeplessness, hysteria, headache, neuralgia, backache, pain, epilepsy, spasms, fits, and St. Vitus' dance") led him to develop a mail order medicine business. Miles also published Medical News, a thinly disguised marketing vehicle for Nervine. Nervine remained on the market as a "calmative" until the late 1960s...
