Scenes of the 60s Bonanza with Johnny Cash singing the theme to Bonanza. If you ever wondered what the words to the song were here it is. A wonderful job by Ellen Tracy.

A video montage to David Allen Coes's "You Never Even Called Me By My Name" by Graybeard1952.Country Outlaw David Allen finally gained gained national fame with this song. A hard drinking, drug using fighting redneck who penned some outrageous lyrics. Many Country D.J.'s refused to play his music. This is probably one of the most played songs in Karaoke Bars (at least in Phoenix-plenty of rednecks here!). I found some live perfomances, but sadly, time and too much booze and drugs have taken its toll, and his perfomances stunk, so I found this montage using his recorded version. This is a another song that will get the crowd hopping! Enjoy

Clara Bow, the It Girl, was the biggest silent movie starlet in the world in 1927 and 1928. (I believe she still holds the world record for most fan mail received by anyone in a month.) She was a natural beauty whose perkiness jumped off the screen. Her career petered out when talkies came in. Many people wrongly assume her voice didn't suit talkies well. Actually her voice wasn't unpleasant at all. However, she was uncomfortable with the new medium of talking films and just slowly faded into obscurity. I think this montage is captivating.

Remember when this anthology program spanned the globe to bring you the constant variety of sport? The voice is Jim McKay. (To my great delight Wide World of Sports showed many excellent boxing matches in the 1970s and 1980s.)

The Beach Boys' God Only Knows with a photo montage. (Paul McCartney once declared this to be the best written song he had ever heard. High praise indeed!)

A montage of the classic holiday film A Christmas Story with music by the Trans-Siberian Orchestra. I've seen this movie so many times and I always end up watching it again during the 24 hour marathon every year! It's become a holiday tradition watching Ralphie's annual quest for a Red Ryder BB Gun.

This is a clever photo montage put together to accompany Puff The Magic Dragon by Peter, Paul and Mary. (It's a melancholy tune, but whenever I hear it on the radio I always turn up the sound and sing along.)

The name Vinko Bogataj probably doesn't mean much to you, but I bet you've seen him. Bogataj was the hapless Yugoslavian skier whose spectacular wipeout at a ski flying event in Oberstdorf, West Germany in 1970 was shown on the opening and closing montages on ABC's Wide World Of Sports for years. Ouch! The agony of defeat!

This is the title song to an album by Jon and Vangelis. The montage that goes along with this will evoke many a memory and whoever made it, did a darn good job.
