Gunsmoke Seeing all of the submissions for western TV series inspired me to jump on the bandwagon. The television series ran from September 10, 1955 to September 1, 1975 on CBS for 635 episodes. To this day, it is the longest run of any scripted series with continuing characters in American primetime television.

The Fonzie Doll Does anyone remember these? I couldn't a Wiki Reference to this, But did find the picture. This kinda has some history for me growing up. My dad and a friend of his actually scheme on an idea for a Fonzie doll and a few months later it was a reality and they missed out on it. I guess someone beat them to it. Dad was so upset by it that he refused to get me one. That's my memory of the Fonzie Doll

The New Original Wonder Woman Movie - 1975 In 1975, a year after the Cathy Lee Crosby television movie, 'The New Original Wonder Woman' had now been changed completely. The ABC Network now adding sexier Lynda Carter, and co-star Lyle Waggoner. In this opening movie version you can see images associated with violence. In 1976, those images were taken off the intro for the younger audience. Bullets were now replaced with the lasso being tossed, and the army tank was missing for the movie event. Comedy was now also added. This was replaced from the serious scenarios in prior ABC versions.

Young Frankenstein 1974 Mel Brooks is a comedic genius and this film proves it. It was actually filmed in the same castle as the original Frankenstein classic, and starred Gene Wilder, Marty Feldman, Peter Boyle, Madeleine Kahn,Teri Garr, Cloris Leachman, Kenneth Mars, and Gene Hackman. If you haven't seen it you're missing out on one of the funniest films of our generation.

ELVIS Suspicious Minds Live From Hawaii At this time in his life, I think Elvis was at his best. This song was widely regarded as the single that jump-started his career after his successful '68 Comeback Special. It was his eighteenth number-one single in the United States. Rolling Stone later ranked it #91 on their list of the 500 Greatest Songs of All Time. Not bad for a country boy from Mississippi.

Our Miss Brooks Opening October 3,1952 to May 11,1956. The trials and tribulations of Connie Brooks, the wisecracking English teacher at Madison High School. Stories revolved around her romantic misadventures as she struggled to impress fellow teacher Philip Boynton (Robert Rockwell and played on the radio show by Jeff Chandler), the biology instructor; and her continual clash with crusty, blustery Osgood P. Conklin (Gale Gordon), the principal. Connie rented a room from kindly old Mrs. Davis and rode to school each morning with one of her students, the dimwitted Walter Denton (Richard Crenna). This was a great show. My daughter, who collects old radio shows, has an entire set of these and they had me in stitches every night!
