Al Jolson belts out Toot-Toot-Tootsie in The Jazz Singer (1927). Historically significant, The Jazz Singer was the first movie to have at least some synchronized sound. The silent film era was coming to an end.

I know it's old as the hills, but this has always been a favorite of mine, besides being a big fan of Al Jolson, it always brings a tear to hear him sing this song from 1927's 'The Jazz Singer'... sniffffff...

This is the version I like the best, performed by The Fureys and Davy Arthur in 1981. Many artists have recorded this, among them is Al Jolson and Perry Como.
