Jib Jab RIP Dear JibJabber, Three years ago, my brother and I conceived JokeBox as a place on the web for people to share laughs. Since then, an amazing community has flourished around that idea and built the biggest joke database in the world. Today, JokeBox has over 140,000 video, text, photo and audio jokes that have been seen hundreds of millions of times. Given that success, it is with deep regret that we are announcing that we are taking JokeBox offline as of December 11, 2008......... We deeply apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. It is our sincere hope that we can bring the non-video and audio elements of JokeBox back online in 2009. To that end, we will keep you posted on our progress. Thanks for your support, understanding and, most of all, for sharing so many laughs on JokeBox over the years; No one is going to miss it more than we are. Sincerely, Evan and Gregg Spiridellis

12 Days Of Christmas This is a tongue in cheek version and is narrated by Frank Kelly more known as Father Jack in the TV series, Father Ted. I hope that this can be understood by all those who are across the pond?

Maurice Chevalier on Whats My Line Here's an eery episode of What's My Line from April 1965: Maurice Chevalier, closing in on his 77th birthday, appears as the mystery challenger. There's nothing eery about that. The freaky part is host John Daly's comment about how energetic he hopes he'll be when he's 77. John Daly died of a heart attack just four days after his 77th birthday in 1991.

Terry Fox Marathon of Hope 1980 Terry Fox was arguably the most heroic figure in Canadian history. On April 12, 1980, the 21-year-old Fox, who had lost his right leg to cancer three years earlier, began a mind-boggling cross-Canada run from Newfoundland to British Columbia with the aid of a prosthesis to raise money for the Canadian Cancer Society. For the next four months Fox averaged 25 miles per day as Canada became captivated by his exploits. Unfortunately, Fox had to abandon his 'Marathon of Hope' near Thunder Bay, Ontario on September 1 because the cancer had resurfaced in his lungs. Fox had run 3,339 miles! He died nine months later. This nine-minute feature was produced by ESPN in 2005.
