Credits go to Awisefool. A classic Honeymooner's espisode where the Krandem's and the Norton's enter a costume contest and Norton gets called away on a sewer emergency right before they leave for the contest and arrives at the contest with seconds left in the judging wearing his sewer garb. Krandem thinks he has it in the bag and will win $50.00 with his Man from Space costume. You can guess the rest! I doubt you'll ever see something like The Honeymooner's again on TV due to the way Ralphy Boy treated poor Alice. This is my favorite epsisode and it is a Regular Riot! Comments like, Bang, Zoom, Pow, Right in the Kissah wouldn't cut it today, but as always, Ralph is always made to feel like a chump in the end and you'll usually hear him say, Baby, Yer da Greatest! Nuff' said, Hom-mi-na, Hom-mi-na!

Happy Birthday to Sally Field!
Sally is the daughter of actress Margaret Field and step-father Jock Mahoney, also an actor as well as a stuntman. Sally managed to finish high school, but early on it was clear she would follow in her parents' footsteps, and she soon got the lead role in the 1965 TV series "Gidget", quickly followed by "The Flying Nun" which ran from 1967-1970. American was in love with her wholesome, girl-next-door persona. The role that got Sally noticed as a more serious dramatic actress, was her portrayal of the title character in the TV movie Sybil, a woman suffering from a multiple personality disorder. The part won her an Emmy in the Best Actress category in 1976. Hollywood now saw Sally Field as more than just a pretty face. She had raw talent they were more than happy to exploit. But Sally didn't altogether abondon her comedic side and proved this by starring opposite Burt Reynolds in the two Smokey And The Bandit films. Nevertheless, her best work came through in dramatic roles, and Sally went on to win Oscars in the Best Actress category for both Norma Rae and Places In The Heart. Aside from acting, she has also produced and directed several projects for television, including directing an episode of the acclaimed mini-series, From The Earth To The Moon.
Sally has two sons from her first marriage, Peter and Eli. And Samuel, from her second marriage.

From the tv show Hullabaloo in 1965. Bobby Goldsboro started out in the early sixties as a guitarist with Roy Orbison. During his three years with Orbison he traveled all over the world and even toured with The Beatles. In 1964 he began his solo career by recording the first of a string of sixteen top-forty hits, “See the Funny Little Clown.” One of his first concert bookings had him opening for the Rolling Stones on their first U.S. tour. More million-selling hits followed, setting the stage for 1968 and the classic, “Honey,” which became the largest-selling record in the world. “Watching Scotty Grow,” “Little Green Apples” and “With Pen in Hand” have also become classics.

Ronnie Milsap is one of those singers who makes any song they sing unforgettable. Whenever I hear this, I think back to our honeymoon trip, we'd been married for 19 years and finally made it. Driving through the beautiful Smokey Mountains of SC, NC and VA, after it rained on those mountain roads it left a mist you could see throughout the hills and valleys, just beautiful...it was like being in heaven, and this song brings it all back again.

u can see where that urban legand might have gotten started . .(as u'll see from the brief footage) . . according to the A&E Network "Biography", after completing a dance number, Carmen unknowingly suffered a mild heart attack, and nearly collapsed. Durante was at her side, and helped keep her on her feet. She laughed "I'm all out of breath" and Durante replied "Dat's OK, honey, I'll take yer lines!" Carmen laughed again, quickly pulled herself together and finished the show. At the end of the broadcast, she danced out the door, turned to the audience, blew a big kiss, and was gone. "The Brazilian Bombshell" died by the following morning, at the age of 46. The official cause of death given on her death certificate was from untreated toxemia (later known as pre-eclampsia), and heart failure stemming from a pregnancy. . .

I've looked all over for this scene and finally found it. Made in 1954, Nicky (Arnaz) and Tacy Collini (Ball) are going to be married. Nicky wants to save up money for a house, but Tacy dreams of starting off with their own home on wheels...a trailer. After the two are hitched, they hitch up their trailer and begin their honeymoon. The humor comes from several disastrous adventures they have while traveling, including Tacy's awkward attempt to cook dinner in a moving trailer, and a cliffhanging ride through the mountains that nearly destroys their marriage. Lucy was perfect as usual, and I die laughing every time I watch this.
