This title sequence and a few select scenes should bring back great memories of this film. It was an instant success and made a fortune at the boxoffice. One of the few films of that time actually made with no sex or profanity, the cast included Spencer Tracy, Jonathan Winters, Mickey Rooney, Buddy Hackett, Sid Ceasar, Dick Shawn,Ethel Merman, Milton Berle, Terry Thomas, and many more top comedians of our generation.

i love this old pic. . . and here's a little Farrah TRIVIA:
Farrah Fawcett was originally offered the Goldie Hawn role in the movie Foul Play.
Farrah earned a degree in Microbiology in her later years when she went back to college.
Farrah attended W.B. Ray High School in Corpus Christi and graduated with the class of 1965. They had voted her the Best Looking.
. . and this Farrah quote: The reason that the all-American boy prefers beauty to brains is that he can see better than he can think...sorry guys!

Dick Martin, the zany half of the comedy team whose "Rowan and Martin's Laugh-In" took television by storm in the 1960s, making stars of Goldie Hawn and Lily Tomlin and creating such national catch-phrases as "Sock it to me!" has died. He was 86.
"He had had some pretty severe respiratory problems for many years, and he had pretty much stopped breathing a week ago," Greenberg said.
Martin had lost the use of one of his lungs as a teenager, and needed supplemental oxygen for most of the day in his later years.

Loosely based on the life of attorney Harold Krents, the plot revolves around a Manhattan blind man whose controlling mother disapproves of his relationship with a free-spirited hippie. The title was inspired by a passage in Charles Dickens' BLEAK HOUSE: "I only ask to be free. The butterflies are free. Mankind will surely not deny to Harold Skimpole what it concedes to the butterflies." This is a poor quatlity clip . . sorry
TRIVIA: Heckart won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress, and Albert received a Golden Globe as Most Promising Male Newcomer
