The U.S.S. Arizona Memorial at Pearl Harbor July 2007 I went to Hawaii this summer in July and we made it a point to stop at The U.S.S. Arizona Memorial at Pearl Harbor. I took this picture from atop the memorial. The memorial sits atop the sunken vessel. 1177 sailors are entombed in the sunken vessel. You have to take a short boat ride over to the Memorial and not one person spoke a word while on the memorial, even children were silent. It was a powerful moment for me and I choked up with tears. The Arizona went down with tons of oil and it still seeps up to the top today. May those who perished on that fateful day on December 7, 1941 rest in peace!

Vintage Farrah i love this old pic. . . and here's a little Farrah TRIVIA: Farrah Fawcett was originally offered the Goldie Hawn role in the movie Foul Play. Farrah earned a degree in Microbiology in her later years when she went back to college. Farrah attended W.B. Ray High School in Corpus Christi and graduated with the class of 1965. They had voted her the Best Looking. . . and this Farrah quote: The reason that the all-American boy prefers beauty to brains is that he can see better than he can think...sorry guys!

ETTA JAMES AT LAST 2007 Etta James taped live at the Playboy Jazz Fest 2007. She was born Jamesetta Hawkins on January 25, 1938, and became an American blues, soul, R&B, and jazz singer and songwriter. In the 1950s and 60s, she had her biggest success as a blues and R&B singer. She is best known for her 1961 ballad "At Last", which has been classified as a "timeless classic" and has been featured in many movies and television commercials since its release. Deborah Harry Today She looks great at 63! Deborah was born in Miami Fl in 1945 and was adopted when she was three months old by a family from Hawthorne, New Jersey, and attended Hawthorne High School, where she graduated in 1963. Prior to starting her singing career she moved to New York in the late 60's and worked as a secretary at the BBC Radio New York office for one year. Later, she was a waitress, a dancer in Union City, and a Playboy Bunny. She began her musical career with a folk rock group, the Wind in the Willows. Harry then joined a girl-group trio, The Stilettos, in the early 1970s. The Stilettos' backup band included her eventual boyfriend and Blondie guitarist, Chris Stein. Harry and Stein formed the band Blondie in the mid-1970s, naming it for the wolf whistle men who often yelled at Harry from passing cars. Blondie quickly became regulars at Max's Kansas City and CBGB's in New York City. After a debut album in 1976, commercial success followed in the late 1970s and early 1980s, first in Australia and Europe, then in the United States.
