Love American Style "The show may best be known for it's February 1972 episode "Love and The Happy Days," which became the pilot episode for the popular tv series "Happy Day's". That episode was written by Garry Marshall and featured Ron Howard as Ritchie, Marion Ross as his Mom, Anson Williams as Potsie. . . to name a few. . ."

Got Scrubs this milk ad has three of my favorite characters from the sitcom "Scrubs." The show stars Zach Braff, Sarah Chalke, Donald Faison, John C. McGinley, Judy Reyes, Ken Jenkins, and Neil Flynn. "A visit to Sacred Heart Hospital, a fictional teaching hospital, is sure to be a surreal, comedic trip. Expect inner monologues, slapstick situations and occasional musical interludes, all mixed in with poignant scenes of how doctors deal with real medical issues."

Daktari Spin off series from the 1965 movie Clarence the Cross eyed Lion. 1966 through 1969. The show was about protecting the animals. Starring: Marshall Thompson, Cheryl Miller, Hari Rhodes, Yale Summers, Hedley Mattington,Don Marshal, Jan Clayton, AND Erin Moran ( yes Joanie Cunningham from Happy Day's). I guess I shouldn't leave out Judy the Chimp or Clarence.

Tiger Brady Remember the brady's dog? Whatever happened to him?------------The dog that played Tiger was hit by a car and killed early in the first season (although Tiger's death was not referred to in any episode). When a replacement dog proved problematic, the producers decided the dog would only appear when essential to the plot. Tiger appeared in about half the episodes in the first season and about half a dozen episodes in the second season. His last appearance was in "What Goes Up," which aired in 1971. Eventually, the dog was phased out altogether. He disappeared completely after the third season and was not mentioned again, not even when the show ended.

Klaatu Barada Nikto My Dad asked me to watch this 'old' movie with him . . i thought it would suck! I mean, it had this lame-looking 'spaceman' with his protector, Gort. Boy was i wrong! This classic stars Michael Rennie, Patricia Neal, Hugh Marlowe, and Sam Jaffe and tells the story of a humanoid alien who comes to Earth to warn its leaders not to take their conflicts into space, or they will face lethal consequences (it even has "Aunt Bee" from the Andy Griffiths Show!!)

Julie Newmar- Then and Now Born Julia Chalene Newmeyer we know her better as Catwoman in the Batman television series. She stared in 12 episodes. In the 1980s and early 1990s, Newmar appeared in several low-budget films. She also guest-starred on TV shows including The Love Boat, Buck Rogers in the 25th Century, Hart to Hart, CHiPs and Fantasy Island. She was seen in George Michael's video clip Too Funky in 1992 as well as appearing as herself in a 1996 episode of Melrose Place. A legal altercation with her neighbor, Jim Belushi, ended amicably with an invitation to co-star with him on his sitcom According to Jim in an episode that poked fun at the feud. Not too bad for being 75 years old!

King Atomic Test Footage from 1946 The Army's Manhattan Engineer District, which designed, developed and tested the first atomic bomb, embarked on a nuclear testing program in 1946 at the newly established Pacific Proving Ground in the Marshall Islands area. It's not a pleasant video, but it's part of our history.

Walt Disneys Song of the South 1946 Disney's first live-action movie mixed in animated scenes to tell the stories of kindly ol Uncle Remus, including the tales of Brer Rabbit, Brer Bear and the Tar Baby. The movie, which had faced accusations that it promoted racial stereotypes and the idea of the slave-slavemaster relationship in a positive light, won a 1947 Best Song Oscar for the song on this clip, Zip a Dee Doo Dah, and was a major cultural force in its day. But it's been on the shelves for half a century and has never been released on home video in the U.S. because of Disney's concerns that depictions in the film viewed in today's world, might not be viewed as kindly or as politically correct. However the studio is currently mulling over the idea of DVD release as soon as 2008. In my opinion, this is a film that made millions of children happy. It was adults who put an end to that. I hope you'll enjoy this with the same sentiments as in which it was posted.
