Dirty Dancing was a 1987 film which is credited as being one of the most watched films of all time. The film stars Patrick Swayze, Jennifer Grey, Cynthia Rhodes, and Jerry Orbach. The story details the moment of time when a teenage girl crosses over into womanhood both physically and emotionally, through a relationship with a dance instructor during a family summer vacation in the Catskills. Approximately one third of the movie involves dancing scenes, and the finale is considered by many to be "the most goosebump-inducing dance scene in movie history.

Roy Clark sings Thank God And Greyhound on an episode of Hee Haw. I love this song! It shows how country music can become a parody of itself. The first time I heard it I laughed for five solid minutes.

Evel Knievel, the red-white-and-blue-spangled motorcycle daredevil whose jumps over crazy obstacles including Greyhound buses, live sharks and Idaho's Snake River Canyon made him an international icon in the 1970s, died today. He was 69.
His death was confirmed by his granddaughter, Krysten Knievel. He had been in failing health for years, suffering from diabetes and pulmonary fibrosis, an incurable condition that scarred his lungs. In 1999 he had undergone a liver transplant after nearly dying of hepatitis C, likely contracted through a blood transfusion after one of his bone-shattering spills.

This is probably the single biggest and most acclaimed Northern Soul record of all time. This performance was filmed for 'The Strange World Of Northern Soul' in Nashville, in early 1999. Dobie is otherwise best known for his 1965 'The In Crowd' and 1973's 'Drift Away.' He was a versatile vocalist who could handle soul, country, and pop. 'Out On The Floor' remains his most beloved soul anthem.

The blue Rollfast skoot was the best wheelie bike I tried.I used to borrow it off my friends sister the gearing was just right. She was also my 1st love until I told her I didn't like Donny Osmond her idol. She dumped me before I was even loaded! The demise of the muscle bike was the stick shift causing injuries. My problem was the gooseneck raising my voice. When B.M.X. hit the scene they had a pad there Why didn't I think of that?About 15 yrs.ago I bought a 3sp. CHOPPER $5.00 at a garage sale in bad shape called a museum in Chicago for it's value sold it to a local bike store for $150 they reconditioned it and it now hangs from their ceiling. The Grey ghost Schwinn when I last checked yrs.ago was worth several 1000 dollars!I owned a Iverson 5sp. muscle bike desgned by George Barris the custom car designer of Batmobile.Green Hornet,Surf woody,Pink Panther,Chipmunk,Munster Koach,Dragula,Beverly Hillbillies,Monkeemobile,General Lee,Knight Rider,Starsky & Hutch,Banachek,etc...He did not design the DeLorean in back to the future, though most beleive he did.LONG story lonnng my bike is worth(was) over $1000.00 Because of George Barris' role in design.

This commercial suggests you celebrate America's bicentennial year by...riding on a Greyhound Bus. Makes sense to me.
