Cabbage Patch Dolls Cabbage Patch Kids are a brand of doll created by Xavier Roberts. The original dolls were all cloth and were available at local craft shows, and later at Babyland General Hospital in Cleveland, Georgia. The dolls attracted the attention of toy manufacturer Coleco, who began mass producing them for the public in 1983.The gimmicks of the dolls are their uniqueness and the fact that they were adoptable. No two were exactly alike; each doll had a different eye color, facial features, hair, and/or outfit.

Each episode typically features the imprisoned former agent, known as "Number Six", failing to escape "the Village", but resisting the interrogation and brainwashing attempts by his captors. King Atomic Test Footage from 1946 The Army's Manhattan Engineer District, which designed, developed and tested the first atomic bomb, embarked on a nuclear testing program in 1946 at the newly established Pacific Proving Ground in the Marshall Islands area. It's not a pleasant video, but it's part of our history.

Roosevelt Hotel Extremely historic place for Hollywood buffs. Spanish Revival style. Opened in 1929 with owners including Louis B. Meyer, Douglas Fairbanks, and Mary Pickford. The first academy awards were held here in 1928 or 1929 (then called the "Merit Awards") in the "Blossom Room". The set for the TV show "This is Your Life" was located here. The Cinegrill was a famous 1940s nightclub still existing inside. Marilyn Monroe used to stay here and her ghost is said to still haunt the halls (hey - it helps business). Reasonable rates, but rooms facing Hollywood Blvd may be a bit noisier. You can see the hotel in the films Beverly Hills Cop II and Charlie's Angels 2.
