Upstairs Downstairs Upstairs, Downstairs was a BAFTA and Emmy award-winning British drama set in a large townhouse in Edwardian London that depicted the lives of the servants "downstairs" and their masters "upstairs". It ran on ITV for five series from 1971 to 1975. First shown in the US in 1974. Upstairs, Downstairs attempted to portray life in a high-status house set against the events of early 20th century. Great events are featured prominently in the episodes but minor or gradual changes are noted as well. It stands as a document of the social and technological changes that occurred between 1903 and 1930. The lives of the servants are integral to the story.

1971 Super Stock Cover Drag racing was a "new" thing in the early fifties. It was still an outcast activity seeking the direction needed to ensure its survival as a legitimate, and legal activity. The legions of young men who had a desire to test their homemade cars in open competition would find that direction with the birth of the National Hot Rod Association. One of the first drag strips to operate on a regular basis was in Reyes own backyard. The Santa Ana drags were conducted at the local airport, and in 1955, a then fourteen-year-old Larry Reyes took his first trip down that historical quarter mile. His mother's Volkswagen was his first ride . . .

Pretty Woman . . "so what happens when he climbs up the tower and rescues her?" answer: "she rescues him right back!" The film centers around the title character, down-on-her-luck prostitute Vivian Ward, (Julia Roberts), who is hired by an exceedingly wealthy business man, Edward Lewis, played by Richard Gere, to be his escort for several business functions, and their developing relationship.

Downloading Videos From The Internet Many of you have sent me private messages on how to download clips from the internet. I've had to do some research myself. I just Googled it and here are the two best solutions I have found: Free: If you use Firefox instead of Internet Explorer you can download videos using a plug in at: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/2390 For $20 you can do it even easier (many members told me this) at: http://nuclear-coffee.com/php/products.php Both links are now listed under "Friends" for future use. You have to keep in mind that a lot of the content is copyrighted, just because it is on the internet doesn't mean it is copyright free.

Ahhh The Old Drive In Remember the drive ins of the 50's and 60's, and all those pizzas, dogs, and fries you stuffed down. If you've forgotten just how great all that grease made you feel, not to mention the speakers that you ripped off when you pulled out... here's a memory for ya.

GTO by Ronny and the Daytonas This brings back memories of high school, especially summer days in the 60's, going down the highway, with no responsibilities, just headin to the beach. And those muscle cars were so awesome, even now, if you're lucky enough to have one.

the beano here is a trip down memory lane for the brits.the beano was my favorite comic,(what was yours.) The comic first appeared in 1938 and it has continued weekly ever since. As of 2007, it has published over 3000 issues. Its characters have become known to generations of British children, including Dennis the Menace, Minnie the Minx, and The Bash Street Kids. Earlier generations will remember other notable characters which have been phased out, such as Lord Snooty and Biffo.
