Resurrection Mary Ghost Story This is the most believable ghost story I've ever come across: the legend of 'Resurrection Mary,' whose spirit has been haunting Chicago since at least 1939. This is a segment from the Unsolved Mysteries series.

SNLs Coffee Talk With Mike Myers A Classic Linda Richman's (Mike Myers) hero was Barbra Streisand. She constantly "dedicated" the show to her, often claiming her to be the greatest actress in all of history. In what could be considered to be the sketch's most memorable moment, Myers was joined by two special guests Madonna and Roseanne Barr as two other Jewish women (and they were authentic, take my word!). They discussed Streisand's movie, The Prince of Tides, on the show. Near the end of the sketch, the women compared Barbra to "buttah"-and suddenly, a voice announced, "All this talk about food, I'm getting hungry, girls." It was Streisand herself in a surprise appearance; none of the actors had any idea that she was to appear. All three managed to remain in character as the audience went wild. Though Streisand only stayed long enough to give each character a kiss and wave to the audience, the moment has become one of the most memorable in the show's history.

Nancy Walker as Ida Morgenstern I've got her on my mind now because of Lava's trivia question. Nancy Walker was a natural comedianne, her role as Ida Morgenstern in the sitcom, Rhoda, was closer to real life than most people realized. She was devoted, loving, sarcastic, and never let you have the last word. Reminds me of someone very dear to me (i love you ma). Enjoy this short clip of Ida in all her glory..

The Gong Show Probably the worst show in the history of broadcasting, the Gong Show, with host Chuck Barris is remembered for the oddball assortment of acts that graced the stage between 1976 and 1978.

Nathan Lane and Robin Williams in The Birdcage Guido mentioned this film and got my mind wandering back to the late 90's. For those of you who aren't familiar with this film, The Birdcage was a 1996 comedy directed by Mike Nichols, and starred Robin Williams, Nathan Lane, Gene Hackman, Dianne Wiest, Dan Futterman, Calista Flockhart, Hank Azaria and Christine Baranski. This is one of the funniest clips from this film.

I Love Lucy Harpo Marx Mirror Scene One of the greatest sustained comedic sequences ever: the mirror skit with Lucille Ball and Harpo Marx from a 1955 episode of I Love Lucy. Consider how difficult it must have been to master the timing needed to pull this off! Enjoy!
