Spin off series from the 1965 movie Clarence the Cross eyed Lion. 1966 through 1969. The show was about protecting the animals.
Starring: Marshall Thompson, Cheryl Miller, Hari Rhodes, Yale Summers, Hedley Mattington,Don Marshal, Jan Clayton, AND Erin Moran ( yes Joanie Cunningham from Happy Day's). I guess I shouldn't leave out Judy the Chimp or Clarence.

This is the opening theme to The Lone Ranger, which starred Clayton Moore and Jay Silverheels, and aired from 1949 to 1957. Originally, Tonto rode double with the Lone Ranger on Silver, but after a publicity photo was taken of the Lone Ranger and Tonto this way, the producers wisely decided to give Tonto his own steed.

Paramount Pictures gave us this great classic sci-fi film, adapted from the novel written by HG Wells in 1898. Gene Barry as Dr. Clayton Forrester, gave an outstanding performance hiding behind some rather large framed Foster Grants, and Ann Robinson, played by Sylvia Van Buren, in the supporting role helping him try to defeat the invading enemy from another planet.

An unlikely combination to be sure: On a 1963 Jack Paar Show, Cassius Clay (he was not yet Muhammad Ali) reads one of his self-aggrandizing poems while Liberace provides the piano accompaniment.

Like most boxing fans, Howard Cosell figured 32-year-old Muhammad Ali had no chance to regain the world heavyweight title whe he stepped into the ring to face 25-year-old George Foreman in Zaire in 1974. (Ali won by an eighth-round knockout.) In 1964 Cosell picked Sonny Liston to beat Ali (then Cassius Clay) in one round. Clay won the title that night when Liston failed to come out for the seventh round.

i recently had a chance to check out Garden-Opoly. This very fun version of Monopoly uses different breeds of plants instead of properties, with POISON IVY replacing MEDITERRANEAN AVE, and Orchids replacing BOARDWALK. Each player buys garden favorites, collects Clay Pots and trades them in for Greenhouses. Sounds easy enough - but add aphid infestation, water bills and a dandelion outbreak and it becomes a little more difficult... and a lot more fun! Each deed back contains interesting facts such as the appropriate climate, soil and watering for each plant, as well as, fun facts about origin, popularity and varieties. A player may even be elected president of the garden club (always wanted to be famous)... or may be WEEDING, and out of the game for three turns! The custom pewter tokens are: a hand trowel, garden clog, garden gnome, wheel barrow and ladybug...i'm the clog...can't keep my shoes on!

Two minutes from the 1976 U.S. Open men's final between Jimmy Connors and Bjorn Borg. This was the second of only three years when the U.S. Open was played on clay courts at Forest Hills. Personally I like these old matches better than today's tennis. The server wasn't as dominant and the players had to craft the points back then.

These are the final two round of the gold medal boxing match in the light heavyweight divison of the 1960 Rome Olympics. Cassius Clay of the United States outpoints Poland's Ziggy Pietrzykowski. I wonder whatever became of that Clay fellow.
