Credits go to Awisefool. A classic Honeymooner's espisode where the Krandem's and the Norton's enter a costume contest and Norton gets called away on a sewer emergency right before they leave for the contest and arrives at the contest with seconds left in the judging wearing his sewer garb. Krandem thinks he has it in the bag and will win $50.00 with his Man from Space costume. You can guess the rest! I doubt you'll ever see something like The Honeymooner's again on TV due to the way Ralphy Boy treated poor Alice. This is my favorite epsisode and it is a Regular Riot! Comments like, Bang, Zoom, Pow, Right in the Kissah wouldn't cut it today, but as always, Ralph is always made to feel like a chump in the end and you'll usually hear him say, Baby, Yer da Greatest! Nuff' said, Hom-mi-na, Hom-mi-na!

A clip from the late 40's TV series, 'The Morey Amsterdam Show', also featuring a young Art Carney. This scene features some then-topical jokes about late 40's TV. 'The Morey Amsterdam Show' was a sitcom/variety show that aired on the DuMont Television Network. The show ran from 1948-1950, and almost every episode is preserved at UCLA. This is quite lucky, since very little TV programming from the 40's still exists, and little DuMont Network programming still exists. The DuMont Television Network broadcasted from 1946-1956, and is largely forgotten. Some popular DuMont TV programs included 'Captain Video and His Video Rangers', 'Life is Worth Living', 'Rocky King Detective', 'Cavalcade of Stars' and 'The Plainclothesman'. It's believed that some time after DuMont went out of business, Its archive was dumped into an upper NY bay. Still, Some DuMont broadcasts still exist, including over 200 kinescopes at UCLA, and more at the Museum of Television and Radio.

Art Carney has the panel stumped for a while in his appearance as a mystery challenger on What's My Line in 1966. Bennett Cerf eventually figures out who is behind the funny voice.

So far I've posted clips of Jackie Gleason and Art Carney when they each appeared on What's My Line. Here's Audrey Meadows' appearance from August 1955--just before the classic 39 episodes of The Honeymooners were filmed.

This clip made me laugh. Watch for when Crazy Guggenheim and Joe discuss the movie The Hustler. I love it when Crazy says he remembers the guy who played Minnesota Fats used to be on the Art Carney show. lol Funny stuff.
