Lee Hazlewood and Nancy Sinatra SOME VELVET MORNING "Some Velvet Morning" is a psychedelic pop song written by Lee Hazlewood and originally recorded by Hazlewood and Nancy Sinatra in late 1967. It first appeared on Sinatra's album Movin' with Nancy. The song has been covered many times since, almost always as a duet. Although "Some Velvet Morning" is one of the more famous duets Hazlewood and Sinatra recorded together, it is considered a departure from their usual fare, as it is decidedly less influenced by country & western music. The single peaked at number 26 on the Billboard Hot 100 in February 1968.

Beatles Butcher Album Cover When The Beatles' 1966 album Yesterday And Today was first released, it featured this grisly cover photo with the Fab Four clad in butchers' smocks posed among dismembered dolls and slabs of meat. The public outcry was swift. Some radio stations refused to play any of the album's songs. The albums were recalled after only one day on the shelves and had a different photo pasted on the cover. Recently an unpasted copy of this album sold for more than $10,000.

I Would Do Anything For Love but i won't do that . . and here's some Meat Loaf TRIVIA: This was Meat Loaf's comeback song. In 1977, his album BAT OUT OF HELL, produced the hits "TWO OUT OF THREE AIN'T BAD," "PARADISE BY THE DASHBOARD LIGHT," and "YOU TOOK THE WORDS RIGHT OUTTA MY MOUTH," all written by piano player Jim Steinman. After a falling out with Steinman and difficulty in his personal life, Meat Loaf released several unsuccessful albums before reuniting with Steinman for Bat Out of Hell II: Back Into Hell, which was considered a sequel to the 1977 album. This has a very similar sound to Meat Loaf's previous hits, and the bombastic, piano-driven style went over well with his old fans as well as a new generation of listeners, helping make this a massive hit...

The Friends Of Mr Cairo This is the title song to an album by Jon and Vangelis. The montage that goes along with this will evoke many a memory and whoever made it, did a darn good job.
