Here is a series that was shown on ABC from 1977 to 1979. Tony Curtis' daughter, Jamie Lee Curtis played a nurse on the shows first year. Her father, Tony Curtis, he was in the motion picture version of this series.
In the second season of this series, it should be noted that entire cast was completely diffrent.
Missing in the second year was also John Astin. An actor who was known on television as Gomez from the black and white series 'The Addams Family' among a few others. His son would later be featured in 'The Lord Of The Rings' movie trilogy.
In the end, the new cast change was a mistake for the program. The series was soon taken off the air. *E*

The 1970s provided excellent hockey for NHL fans. One of the best rivalries was the Boston Bruins versus the Philadelphia Flyers. The two teams met in the playoffs four times in five seasons. In 1974, the upstart Flyers surprised the favored Bruins in six games to win the Stanley Cup. Two years later, in 1976, Philadelphia beat the Bruins in five games in a semifinal series. A year later Boston avenged the earlier defeats with a four-game sweep in the semis. (The victory was so decisive it got Boston's Brad Park and Gerry Cheevers on the cover of Sports Illustrated on May 9, 1977.) The following year, 1978, Boston again convincingly beat Philadelphia in five games in a semifinal. The 2010 Stanley Cup playoffs featured these two teams meeting in the postseason, a conference semifinal, for the first time since 1978. The Flyers won in seven games after losing the first three.

In 1972, Denver scored his first top ten album, with Rocky Mountain High, while its title track reached the Top Ten in 1973. In 1974, "Sunshine on My Shoulders" and "Annie's Song" both went to number one, and "Back Home Again" made it to number five. In 1975, he again had two number ones, "Thank God I'm A Country Boy" and "Calypso/I'm Sorry," and a top twenty hit, "Sweet Surrender." Key to Denver's success were his many appearances on television, which in the pre-MTV era of the 1970s, with his long blond hair, embroidered 'western' shirts, affable manner & granny glasses, made him one of the first truly "tele-genic" pop stars. In subsequent years, Denver had a lower-profile career. He had a few more U.S. Top 30 hits as the 1970s ended, but nothing to match the success he enjoyed earlier. As his career slowed down, Denver focused more on humanitarian and sustainability work. He worked extensively on conservation projects and helped to create the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge in Alaska. On October 12, 1997, Denver was killed when the Long-EZ aircraft he was piloting crashed just off the coast of California at Pacific Grove, shortly after taking off from the Monterey Peninsula Airport.

This was a gift for any boy or girl, first introduced in 1967. You could make pictures with pegs that lit up in the dark. Very easy when you follow the dark paper diagram behind the panel.

In the 1970’s, an educational series appeared on the ABC television network. This series Schoolhouse Rock was a masterpiece for growing children in the 1970s. The songs were not very complicated for younger kids to learn quickly.
Grammar Rock's, Unpack Your Adjectives, it was originally shown on ABC's 1975 Saturday mornings.
The series run lasted till 2001, this is when ABC stopped showing the educational mini films.
It is a fact, the song was sung by a singer in her 60s!
Blossom Dearie recently passed away this year.
