Oct 22nd Happy 65th Birthday Annette Annette Funicello reminisces about her singing career and how the "Annette" sound was created. She announced in 1992 that she suffers from multiple sclerosis. She had kept her condition a secret for many years, but felt it necessary to go public to combat false rumors that her impaired carriage was the result of alcoholism. That same year, she was inducted as a Disney Legend. In 1993, she opened the Annette Funicello Fund for Neurological Disorders at the California Community Foundation. She is truly a beautiful and courageous lady, who will always be loved and admired by all of us.

Crystal Pepsi Crystal Pepsi was introduced to consumers in the U.S., Canada and Australia in 1992. Crystal Pepsi was marketed as a caffeine-free "clear alternative" to normal colas, equating clearness with purity and health. Its marketing slogan was, "You've never seen a taste like this". At one point Crystal Pepsi accounted for one percent of total soft drink sales in the United States, but the public soon lost interest in the clear beverage. It was quietly discontinued in 1993.

1993 Red Skelton Interview Part 1 The thoroughly lovable Red Skelton didn't do many TV interviews, but he did this one for the Dini Petty Show on CTV in Canada in 1993. What a delightful fellow he was. (Be sure to watch parts 2 and 3 of this interview!)

The Wonder Years Final Scene The Wonders Years was an oustanding ABC TV series that ran from 1988 through 1993. It chronicled the adolescent years of a suburbanite boy, Kevin Arnold, from 1968 through 1973. I've always thought it was a very accurate portrayal of how teenage boys think and react. (I'm speaking from experience here!) Sadly, The Wonder Years will likely never be available on DVD because of music licensing issues. Here is the last scene that wrapped up this excellent series.

Cheers Through the Years From 1982 to 1993, This was one of the greatest character driven comedies in the history of television. All of the characters were just your basic every day working stiffs who just hung out at their favorite watering hole. The great cast made this show a classic that would be a major sitcom influence for years to come.
