Formed in the late 1960s, this band of English musicians came together to play rock with a diverse edgy feeling.
They were an album oriented group who could care less about having a hit on the pop charts. This is a rare awkward interview conducted just 2 years after bursting onto the music scene. Led Zeppelin were huge back in the 1970s, it was commonplace to see their albums in a record collection, or even heard on FM radio.

In this classic sports photo from 1960, Chuck Bednarik of the Philadelphia Eagles towers above Frank Gifford of the New York Giants--whom Bednarik had just flattened with a pulverizing hit. Gifford was out of action for a year!

America Comes Of Age
July 10, 1925 - The Scope's Trial
It was the early 1920s, social patterns were in chaos. Traditionalists worried that everything valuable was ending. Younger modernists sought society's approve of their behavior. Intellectual experimentation flourished. In a response to this new social patterns set in motion by modernism, a wave of revivalism developed, becoming especially strong in the American South.

Jay Ward provided the animation to the popular 1960s creation.
Cap'n Crunch cereal had hit its peak in 1971, this is when more competition came along from other brands.
It is a fact,Fruity Pebbles took the lead with Fred Flintstone and his friends as its commercial characters for its advertising agenda.
Cap'n Crunch's animator/creator, Jay Ward, he also provided the weekly series of cartoons, Dudley Do-Right, Rocky and Bullwinkle, Mister Peabody and Sherman. You may remember, the short cartoon Fractured Fairy Tales, and George Of The Jungle, just to name a two more of his companies animated creations.
The cereal Cap'n Crunch is manufactured by the Quaker Oats Company.
