History repeats itself, sort of: The Chicago Little League team that won the US title in 2014 was found to have been stocked with ineligible players because its league administrators played fast and loose with the residential boundaries. Following an investigation, the team was disqualified six months later.

The parents and organizers of this team aren't exactly great role models for the kids, are they?

Cool! It's true! Justice does triumph.

Eric, you'll be happy to know that Danny Almonte had a very brief and unsuccessful minor league career.

If there's any justice in the world Danny Almonte would be toiling in the minors getting shelled by the guys he struck out during the LLWS.

One journalist from ESPN called Felipe Almonte, 'The worst steroetypical Little League parent come to life.' Can't argue with that.

One thing that always bugged me about this whole mess: Somehow Danny himself was not held accountable. You can't tell me that a kid doesn't know if he's 12 or 14.
