IMO, one season of this series was worth more than all of Tom Cruise's later films put together. Each episode of 'Mission: Impossible', which ran from 1966-1973, featured a unique opening. Clips from the upcoming show were edited together in the fast-paced style of Lalo Schrifrin's brilliant theme song and played before the opening credits.
