OK, you asked for it. Jefferson Airplane redid it in 1966 and in 1967 The Youngbloods did their version of it. But none of these people wrote it. It was actually written back in 1963 by Chet Powers.

i cheated partially it played constantly on nyc tv to celebrate the national alliance between christians and jews brotherhood week i remembered the symbol but coundnt remember the sponsor songfacts.com naomi theres numerous more interesting facts on that song youll be surprized!
