Walter Brennan was best known for starring as Walter Andrews, CEO of the fictitious Thunder Corporation, on the betgotten ABC comedy series The Tycoon.

I agree with Steve. Walter Brennan was one of Hollywood's most likeable actors. He defined what a character actor should be.

I'm amazed that Adolph Menjou suddenly pulled Walter Brennan's name from out of nowhere almost at the last possible moment.

i was looking at the advvertisement for SUAVE . . i didn't realize it had been around so long . . it looked it up and it says that it started in 1937 as a hair tonic . . huh . .

Perhaps you were looking at the clip when Mickey Rooney was the mystery challenger. Suave was the sponsor of that program.

Love the What's My Line Clips. And to see Menjou and Garson on this along with Brennan adds to the spice of it.

This WML clip contains a rare error by moderator John Daly: Early in the game he forgot to flip a card when Mr. Menjou got a no answer to his 'Are you a comedian' question. Thus Mr. Brennan should have stumped the panel!
