Thus New York State in 1936 had a gasoline tax of more than 33 percent!

I believe the ridiculous price of gas today will soon make it viable for someone to come up with a revolutionary way of powering vehicles that will free us from the shackles of petroleum. Opportunity is certainly knocking.
