The Curly Shuffle starring Who Else But Curly Pretty funny but I'd like to hear what the women say. Every woman I've ever met says she hates the three stooges.

I watched them up to the time I was in high school, but there was a limit to how much I watched them. I love slapstick comedy, however they were a little too much sometimes.

I guess I'm not a typical guy in this respect. I could only stand the Three Stooges until I was about 10.

One of my friend's great-grandfathers was one of the Stooges' writers during the heyday of Curly.

Give me Laurel Hardy or Abbott and Costello over these guys anytime.

I have always love the 3 Stooges, but yes, every woman I've known really didn't like them. Must be because of the physical humor.

I'm with Naomi on this one: Laurel and Hardy are much better (especially the silent L H films which are hardly ever shown on TV anymore.)

Lava, you just reminded me of something, I'll bet you'll love it. I'll be back.

I read somewhere a long time ago that Chaplin was the most imitated comedian of all time. Of all the other great comedians or comedy groups, the Stooges were said to be the second most imitated throughout the world.

At my job I work with many young folks. None of them have heard of the Marx Bros, Laurel + Hardy, Abbott + Costello, Chaplin, or Mack Sennett. {A manager who is a few years younger than I has posters of all these greats in his office and we have discussed past comedy greats, so that's how I know this.} But all know who the Three Stooges are.

Yes, it is true that they have not been ranked among the best by the critics and that's because they made so few full length films. However, I prefer to measure their success, not by the revenues produced by their movies, but by how much they are loved by succeeding generations.

Wow Classico, what a shame and loss the kids don't remember these greats. No wonder TV and the movies have gone down hill, for me at least!
