Tyrone Power on Whats My Line From March 27, 1955, Tyrone Power appears as a mystery challenger on a very strange evening on What's My Line. Why was it so strange? Just to be different, Power arranged for the audience not to applaud when he entered. Also strange that night was the stunningly inept game play of panelist Wally Cox. Cox was so excruciatingly slow at questioning the contestants that he was never allowed on the panel again.

I think Wally Cox was best suited for Hollywood Squares--where he was supplied with answers in advance.

Wally Cox' television persona was that of a shy, timid man in horn-rimmed glasses who spoke in a tentative, though distinctly enunciated, voice. It was a persona that his long-time friend Marlon Brando said was completely at odds with the real man.

This show aired exactly 4 Years before I was born on March 27!
