Fan Throws Pizza At Another Fan A classic sports blooper: From April 16, 2007, a miffed baseball fan at Boston's Fenway Park (Dan Kelly) throws a slice of pizza at another fan (Jason Sole). Both became regional celebrities. Red Sox announcers Jerry Remy and Don Orsillo describe the action.

According to news reports the following day--and this incdient was major news--the portly pizza-slice thrower was angry because his victim had been taunting him about ordering an entire pizza and directing fat jokes about him.

The announcers were funnier, I thought they were going to lose it.

This is 'male humor' as more men than women would find this clip amusing, I suspect.

I saw those 8$ cups of Beer go! Reminded me of the Malice at the Palace!

I was at Fenway Park last weekend. Considering how much money I paid for a ticket and the price of concession stand food at the ballpark, the last thing I'd think of doing is throwing an $8 pizza slice at someone and getting kicked out of the park for it!

This never fails to make me laugh.

It's definitely guy humor.

Today is the eighth anniversary of this incident. It has become so famous it now appears in this day in sports history articles.
