His early stuff reminded me so much of Jerry Lewis I couldn't stand either, but asJim Carey's career evolved I began to like him more.

Y'know you're right. His type of humor was very similar to a young Jerry Lewis. He came on a little strong at the beginning, but he honed his skills over the years.
