Yvonne, who was originally from Canada, accepted the role of Lily to help pay husband Bob Morgan's medical bills. Morgan, who worked as an actor and stuntman, had suffered near-fatal injuries while filming 'How the West Was Won' in 1962. She later admitted that she never would have imagined the role of Lily Munster would become her most famous role.
