This is sort of in bad taste because Elvis had a real twin brother who died at birth.

That happened when he was a child, I'm sure he didn't acquiant this skit with his brother dying, or he never would have agreed to do it. Besides that, this was part of a USO tour for the troops, and most entertainers felt they would do whatever they could to entertain them.
