This show was made about a year before the first episode of Little House On The Prairie. Apparently, Melissa Sue Anderson did not have to audition for the role of Mary. She got it based on her appearance on The Brady Bunch. A couple of years later, the actor who played Bobby (Mike Lookinland) made a brief appearance on Little House as a passenger on a train.

If only this were the effect of the first kiss. Normally, though, the ones you really remember are the ones from the maiden aunt with the moustache. LOL!
