Soul Aid Bandages This looks like something out of National Lampoon, but apparently this was a real product: Flesh-colored bandages for black people.

This is more proof the race will always be a factor in society.

Heck they never consulted the white people for a color match!

My friend has a good saying: There's only one race--the human race.

I think this was a good idea, why shouldn't black people have bandages that blend in with the color of their skin? Whites have always had them.

Johnson and Johnson never consulted the average causasian about a color match simply because they have always been made to match our skin tones. It's been so ingrained in our minds that most of us probably have never even thought about it before seeing this ad.

Are these even available now on store shelves? If not, they certainly should be.

LOL Naomi, even Crayola hasn't match yet!

Personally, I've never worried aboout whether a bandage matched my pigmentation. I don't think it ever has.

I believe Crayola discontinued 'flesh' color crayons because it was now politically incorrect. I only learned about it when it was a question on Who Wants To Be A Millionaire.

What color of bandage would Michael Jackson use?

LOL Eric! Plaid maybe?

You had to mail away for these, I guess when you need a band aid you can't wait for the mailman!
