I would sneak 5 people in the trunk of my Dodge Coronet. It had the push button shifter on the dash. I called it a Gouge-A-Matic. I saw The Graduate 5 times and thanks to my trunk, most of my senior classmates were able to see it once.
Yeah, we did that, had people in the trunk and would sneak them out after we got settled in a spot. I had a 63 Dodge Dart with the same push button shifter! I was going down the road one day and hit one of the buttons by accident.....almost lost my whole engine! Glad they did away with those...
