From the sublime to the ridiculous!
Sean Connery has worn some exotic costumes in his career, but doesn't this one just take the cookie?
The film btw. was Zardoz, a John Boorman movie need I say more?

I like the boots, but the hair and the diaper have to go... Actually, I've seen this film a few times, it was very strange and not one of his best at all.
The idea is this: In the distant future Earth is divided into two camps, the barely civilized group and the overly civilized one with mental powers. A plague is attacking the second group after which it's members cease to have any interest in life and become nearly catatonic. When Sean Connery one of the barbarians, crosses over, the tenuous balance in their world is threatened.
And a little bit of trivia:
- In order to hold down costs on the movie, Sean Connery used his own car and drove himself during the production. John Boorman then gave him half the money that had been budgeted to hire him a car and driver.
- The exterior shots at the very opening of the movie were taken right next to director John Boorman's house in Ireland.
- Burt Reynolds was the first choice for Zed, but he bowed out due to illness. (yeah I'll bet)
- The government initially refused to allow the production team to import the guns for the movie into Ireland because of terrorist attacks occurring at the time.
- According to Boorman, Sean Connery found it incredibly difficult to get work when he abandoned the James Bond role a second time after 'Diamonds Are Forever' in 1971. Thus, Boorman was able to hire Connery very cheaply for this project.

Thank God I had my daily injection of caffeine before viewing this.I may of become ill,I never saw this? And if I did in real life, I'd run to save my virginity PRONTO!! lol

I had no Idea he was so hairy still love the man after all these years. In fact he really aged well.
