Herb Peterson, who invented the ubiquitous Egg McMuffin as a way to introduce breakfast to McDonald's restaurants, has died, a Southern California McDonald's official said Wednesday. He was 89.

Me too! Those Egg McMuffins were so good when they first came out in the 60's, they were my daughter's favorite breakfast food when she was still in her carseat! I haven't had one in years, do they still taste as good as they did?

I don't remember the taste a couple of decades ago, but yes Naomi they are still I think the best thing on the menu....well maybe tied with the fries!
