I remember this commercial very well. 'I'm going home to watch the late show' was a great line. Love how the disclaimer says that Betamax tapes are only good for two hours of recording. Good luck trying to tape a typical baseball or football game.

Format wars continue to this day. Beta was always better imo. but the VHS won out. Goodbye HDD, hello Blue Ray is the latest one.
