Fixed Game Show Twenty One You'll want to watch this: This is the final few minutes of the infamous episode of Twenty One from 1956 when reigning champion Herbert Stempel 'took a dive' on orders from the show's producers so handsome challenger Charles Van Doren could win. Both players answer the question about the wives of Henry VIII correctly, but in an earlier game that had ended in a tie, Stempel had deliberately missed a relatively simple question on movies that would have given him the win.

Students of British history are taught to remember the fate of Henry VIII's wives this way: divorced, beheaded, died, divorced, beheaded, survived. It is not quite accurate, though. Henry's first and fourth marriages actually ended with annulments, not divorces.

Didn't Charles Van Doren worked for Encyclopedia Britanica Films? He appeared in condensed version of stories like The Lottery at the end.

Both men are still alive. How about a rematch (provided it's on the level)?
