Yes, sadly Alice Pearce died of cancer early in the series. The producers tried to hide her declining health by bundling her in sweaters so her emaciated appearance would be disguised.
(I hate that disease. It's killed too many of my friends and family members.)
my neighbor in the sticks here is a window peeker i give her a show and scared her off by doing martial arts and acting up a psychotic temper she was no where when my 3 cars were vandalized be more like your husband and get a life or batteries mind your business i dont have enough time she was a riot!!!
Bewitched was one of my fav's as a child Gladys Uncle Arthur (Paul Lynn) made that show !!! Its right up there with Laugh-in and Beverley Hillbillies!
