This has got to be my all time favorite musical. Nobody could sing Secret Love like Doris....heck, nobody could sing like Doris, I'll just leave it at that. I'm sure most folks know that the real Calamity Jane resembled the character portrayed on Deadwood, rather than the adorable, blonde Ms Day. But the movie never would have sold!
