In California My Dad grew up and became close friends with Emmett Dalton's Grandson Howard. I grew up calling him Uncle Howard.

I like the kid peering through the hole in the wall. It was actually a fairly common occurrence to put the corpses of hanged criminals on public display (or just leave them dangling from the gallows). I suppose putting gunned-down bad guys on a slab wasn't considered much different.
