The Seven Ups Another favorite car chase, this time from 'The Seven-Ups' (1973), shot in NY, featuring stunt driver Bill Hickman who was previously seen in 'Bullitt'. A REALLY good time for 'Depends'!! LOL

Memory city Naomi I've driven on most of these roads.Reminds of crossing the Bayonne bridge at 2:05 am when the bars closed in Jersey to get to Statan Island NYC for the 3:00 am or so closing there.Looks like a 350 Pontiac Ventura and a 455 Pontiac Bonneville very fast cars drove both in the day.

Watching this made me think of what it was like to ride with my youngest daughter in the 80's!! They had to use a crow bar to ungrip my hands from the door handle and the dashboard when I got out, and there were indentations of my nails in it!!!

Not only was this a great movie but the car chase scenes were awesome. Those muscle cars of the late 60's early 70's were nothing short of being a sherman tank !!! I had a 72 Rivera and a 63 Riv, the 63 could blow the doors off the 72 in the start.. but the long haul...Ah.... sigh...... Nothing beats a 8 Cly slant. That was power back then.. Thanks Naomi !!
