Wow, do I remember this one!
A little Lynrd Skynrd trivia :
-The band got the idea for their name from Leonard Skinner, a gym teacher/basketball coach for some of the members at Robert E. Lee High School in Jacksonville, Florida. It was a mocking tribute to Skinner, who would strictly enforce the school's dress code, which did not allow boys to have long hair touching the collar or sideburns below the ears. In 1973, they changed the spelling of the band's name from Leonard Skinnerd to Lynyrd Skynyrd.
-Ronnie Van Zant said that Creedence Clearwater Revival was his biggest inspiration.
-They're ranked #95 on Rolling Stone's list of the 100 Greatest Artists of All Time.

Naomi, you went right to the heart with this one. Not only am I a BAMA native but a big University of Alabama football fan and at the end of the 3rd Quarter at home games there is nothing like 92,000 plus Crimson Tide fans standing and singing along as this blares from the PA System.
