I loved the Kettles, but I'm glad I didn't learn my math from them! Ma (Marjorie Main) and Pa (Percy Kilbride) Kettle were the featured characters in a series of popular light comedies in the 1940's and 1950's. The movies revolved around the absurd misadventures of the Kettle clan, a large but loving family of down home country folk.

I couldn't believe when the first appeard on the movie The Egg and I. They made that movie really funny, and a whole movie around them was even better.
