Hot Wheels cars Hot Wheels is a brand of die cast toy car, introduced by American toymaker Mattel in 1968. It was the primary competitor of Johnny Lightning and Matchbox until 1996, when Mattel acquired rights to the Matchbox brand from Tyco.

I spent many an hour and money on those! They were the fastest and they did so much more than any other toy car could!

When I bought my son his first set he was mildly interested. Gave up after the first set. There is so many things after kids attention these days!

we dug up the front lawn of my friend's house so we could me a cool track . . and all before lunchtime, and before her mom noticed!! lol

i had the ist year issued track set i was doing it with lionels running them on the train track from my dresser after the transformer blew HOT TRAIN WHEELS those box cars really flew on 20 ft of track i saw my idea in the car version
