Like many 1970s TV stars, Catherine found the movie offers, poster contracts, personal appearances and talk-show gigs slowly evaporating as her series faded from the public's memory. In the past several years, she has been involved in wildlife conservation and domestic violence issues. In 1994 she testified before Congress on behalf of the Rhinoceros and Tiger Conservation Act. Because of the feature film with Jessica Simpson playing the role of Daisy Duke, Bach has been asked to make more personal appearances.
